The curious effect of Pyrolle Orange

This color has a peculiar effect on my eyes. When I look up at it, it looks super vibrant, almost neon-like, similar to a warning post on the road. If I keep staring at it, the effect slowly fades, and it starts to look dull. At the same time, my mind keeps telling me this is a super bright color, as it was just moments ago, so that the color now appears so dull in comparison to what I believe to see that it almost becomes a shade of brown in my mind. Then I look away. Moments later, I look at it again, and the effect starts all over.

Honestly, I can’t stop looking at it.
