While I highly value traditional techniques, I am continually researching new ways of doing things. By combining contemporary design techniques with those of the old masters, I am searching for a new visual language. This process transcends rules and categories, which is why my work is both figurative and abstract. I draw, paint, take photographs, use software, use my hands, use the internet. A constant stream of information leads me down ever-new paths to explore. My ideas about art are in a permanent state of flux.
